ATR 500 & 600
Type Rating Courses
As of 2023, Alliance Aviation will be hosting one brand new ATR 600 Full Flight Simulator and our ATR 72 500 Full Flight Simulator at our Cancun facility.
Type ratings are crucial for anyone pursuing a career as an airline pilot. While Boeing and Airbus often dominate discussions around essential type ratings, the ATR 42 and ATR 72 are equally important, especially for those interested in flying twin-turboprop aircraft. ATR, a Franco-Italian aircraft manufacturer, is a key player in the global aviation industry, supplying hundreds of commercial aircraft worldwide.
When you choose our program for your pilot-type rating courses, you will be exposed to some of the best instructors and technology in the industry. Our goal is to have you feeling confident and prepared to fly commercial aircraft when you leave our facility.
About
Our ATR Programs
ATR’s two main aircraft — the ATR 42 and ATR 72 — require specialized training that differs from their twin-jet counterparts. We offer comprehensive type rating courses for both of these aircraft, ensuring you receive the best training possible.
In addition to our advanced simulators, we pride ourselves on delivering a hands-on learning experience that meets the highest standards of aviation training. With Alliance Aviation, you'll not only master the technical skills needed to operate the ATR aircraft but also gain a deep understanding of the operational intricacies that make ATR planes unique in the commercial aviation industry.
